Walking in a Winter Wonderland

After waiting for the snow for what seemed like forever, I woke up this morning in a scene from Narnia.

You may notice from the pictures, that I have not been able to get out of the house today as living in the middle of nowhere means icy roads and too many ditches to consider! I have also just received a call from the grocery delivery to say that my deliciously fat little pork chops will not be arriving at my door today. Beans on toast for tea then!
However, despite all of this, I cannot help but love the snow. Watching my daughter play and hearing her laughter is priceless and the gentle hush that snow creates is really quite magical.
I would love to see your pictures and hear your experiences of the snow - good and bad. Do you think our council have been prepared for the forecasted weather or have you been left out in the cold and feel let down by them? Have you had a great day playing in the snow, or have you been snowed in and unable to make essential journeys? Let Chichester People know your thoughts. Take care and keep warm.
