The Festival is a relatiively intimate festival which seeks to celebrate all aspects of the arts including the likes of music making; performance; films; dance; storyteling; cooking and of course everyones favourite: eating!
Being the first of its kind, it is difficult to know exactly what to expect but I am fairly confident that it will be successful and enjoyable enough to not be the last of its kind!
When it comes to the music there is a wonderfully eclectic range performing through the course of the weekend. There will be everything from bands like 6 Day Riot who will be performing some alternative pop to groups like The Royal Organ Duo playing some funky tunes on the organ. There is also set to be some classical cellists; traditional blues and even some ukelele rock 'n' roll which is surely too intriguing to miss!
All the music performances will be in a Big Top tent and they will be interspersed with a number of other types of performance. Among those will be a comedic and magical clown called Herbie Treehead; a poet and performer who regularly appears on Radio 4 and a number of other original acts.
The festival is set to be a really interesting and unique occasion with all its variety. What do you think about the idea of the eclectic festival? Perhaps you're going? Let us know whatever you think!

Looks great - the rock and roll ukeleles sounds most interesting to me!
