One of the things i have learned to be true of Chichester residents is that we all tend to like a good cup of coffee or tea when we are out and about. For this reason, I have done a short list of a few of the great coffee shops that are on offer in our city.

We will begin with the very successful Caffe Nero on East Street in Chichester. You don't simply have to take my word for it when it comes to Caffe Nero in Chichester but listen to vw_sarah who says "They have the best Latte's and Cappucino's in town." poppy_smith also says they have "Great egg and bacon panini".

Another place in Chichester for a coffee break that doesn't need my review because others have already done the job is the Buttery. prynne says on Chichester People: "The Buttery at the Crypt is a fantastically old, authentic tea and coffee house. You can sit and admire the stunning vaulted interior while munching away on a variety of classic British food including all-day breakfasts, home-made cakes and cream teas".

Speaking of old and authentic tea and coffee houses, Chichester Cathedral has a wonderful little coffee shop which certainly falls into that category. It is of course a lovely coffee shop but one really goes for the beautiful surroundings and atmosphere of the cathedral. I am sure I don't need to tell you of the beauty of Chichester Cathedral.

I am equally sure that we are all fully aware of the giant that is Starbucks coffee shops and would seem daft to write this list without giving it a mention. Starbucks is worth going to for the milkshakes and the great wi-fi set up they have which can be really handy.

Crumbs and Creams is certainly a lovely place for a good old cream tea or any hot drink with any cake. The pastries and cakes in there are all very tasty and freshly made. If you fancy a cake with your tea or coffee then certainly look no further than Crumbs and Creams

Well there is a relatively very short list of some places in Chichester to go for a coffee or tea. That just leaves me to say... Happy coffee break!
