Improvements will be made to the entrance of Little London car park in Chichester.
-
Chichester District Council
The work will start on Monday 19 September and is expected to last about three months but there is nothing to worry about as the car park and shops will remain open.
The main improvements will be carried out to the link road and pavement between the car park and Little London itself. The main improvements that are set to be made are York stone pavings; granite kerbs and a new road surface.
The cattle market car-park is also going to be resurfaced with a view to creating a safer walkway for pedestrians.
All the work has been jointly funded by Chichester District Council and West Sussex County Council.
What do you think about the planned improvements? Money well spent or should the councils be spending their money elsewhere?
Comments
I think this is money well spent. I use this car park when I go shopping and it could do with resurfacing. Any improvements for pedestrian safety has to be a good thing.
