With the arrival of December, very few people still deny that the Christmas season has begun and with that being the case it seems of the utmost importance that we decorate our homes in all things Christmas! The following is a list of a few places in Chichester that are more than happy to assist you in your decorating attempts this Christmas season!
-
This year's Christmas tree at the cross in Chichester. Can you beat the council's decorating skills?
First thing is first when putting up the Christmas decorations and that has to be the centrepoint of all Christmas decorations - the tree! Russells Garden Centre is a wonderfully run local family business in the Birdham and they are now providing a range of Christmas trees. It has been a big year for Russells as they have celebrated their 65th anniversary and it would be great to help them round off a great year in style by buying your tree from their.
Another Garden Centre in Chichester selling Christmas trees is Wyevale Country Gardens. Wyevale have a number of other Christmas decorations and they will also be having a special Chrismtas lunch menu in their restaurant and they might even have one or two surprise appearances for Father Christmas himself.
The last of the garden centres on this short list is Brick Kiln Garden Centre. Brick Kiln are not only selling real Christmas trees but artificial trees as well from £19.99! They also have a number of various other Christmas offers including buy-one-get-one-free offer on cream teas when used with a voucher found by clicking here.
House of Fraser this year has an almost overwhelming stock of Christmas decorations to keep us busy decorating til January when we have to take them down again! They have a number of very pretty decorations from Eastern jewel purple sequin balls for £3 to a homespun berry wreath for £35.
BHS is another store in Chichester with an impressively vast Christmas stock to search in. They take most pride in their Christmas gift options but you could buy a number of their gifts just for yourself and your home.
Finally, if you are cutting back on Christmas this year (like we all say we are going to every year), then Poundland has a very good variety of naturally cheap Christmas decorations. They are selling a number of blue and silver decorations which look lovely together and there is certainly no better place for you to stock up on your Christmas sweets and chocolate!
So there is a very short list of a number of Christmas decoration option in Chichester. Happy decorating!

ReportDear Joe, many thanks for another interesting item, that's most helpful. However, in order to get it right re the photograph of the tree, this tree NOT anything to do with the Council, nor ever has been all the years I have been in Chichester.
It is the Rotary Club Tree of Goodwill, as witnessed by some of your other photos which show the banner on the barriers quite clearly with Rotary Club information/logo.
Only a small point but for the sake of Chichester, we need to get it right !
Best wishes.
