You can now connect to Chichester careline online after the launch of its brand new website.

Chichester Careline is run by Chichester District Council and it operates 365 days of the year and 24 hours of the day. It supports everyone from young carers, to lone workers, to those who want to maintain their indepedence.

The new website (http://www.chichestercareline.org.uk) helps to provide detailed information about the options available. One of the priorities in creating the site was to ensure that it could be used by people of all ages and backgrounds. Brenda Jackson, the Careline Manager says:

"Some of our older customers who use our pendant are amazed how small and easy it is to use. They are also surprised to discover that they don't have to wear it round their neck and instead it can fit around their wrist, like a watch. This new website aims to provide people with detailed information on the options available, from the comfort of their own home."

One of the most impressive ambitions of the site is that it seeks to even help vulnerable and older eople who need support to remain in their home and maintain independence.

Among the solutions provided by the service are a pendant, a bed sensor and smoke detecters - all of which are connected to the Careline call centre.

Check out the site for yourself and come back here to leave your thoughts and comments on what you make of the new webpage.

I just briefly checked out the site and they have certainly done it pretty stylishly simple!
